| World Junior Championships semifinals
World Junior Championships have reached semifinal stage. In the first semifinal on January 14th, Team  will meet Team  . In the second clash, Team  will challenge Team  . Winners from both games will meet on January 16th in the final game to decide the 2009 World Champion of ice hockey.
